VOCA Cap Raised to $2.36 Billion

Crime Victims Fund- The agreement includes section 510, providing a significant increase in funds available for distribution through the Crime Victims Fund, raising the obligations level to $2,361,000,000. Management and oversight of this expansion of the grants portfolio is critical, and as such, the Office for Victims of Crime shall report to the Committees on Appropriations no later than 45 days after the date of enactment of this Act on its plans to increase oversight efforts by requiring victim assistance grant recipients to certify their 501(c)(3) status and make their financial statements publicly available online.
